First-Time Free

We’re so sure you’re going to love the FPYC experience and will want to come back year after year, session after session, we’re willing to fund your first session as a camper.

The friendships, the fun, the grand outdoors, and a deeper relationship with the Lord will be the draw for years of continued Christian camping. Let us open that door by paying for your first camp session.

Here’s a handy, step-by-step guide to make it happen. There’s a good bit of prep so it’s nice to have it all lined up like this. Let’s go!

Step 1

Talk to your parents, let them know why you’re interested in going to camp; do some thinking about this ahead of time.  Let them know you’re willing to put in the effort to make it happen, let them know your first-ever session is free.

Step 2

Talk to your friends.  Find out which sessions they’ve done or which one they’re planning to do.  Though you’ll likely make new friends at camp, having a friend come along can ease some of the newness. If your friend is like you, a total camp rookie, bring them! Their first-time session is just as free as yours.

Step 3

Sit down with your parents and their calendar and nail down which free session you’d like to attend.  And yes, if you’re a first-time, 14+ years old, the 2-week Senior Camp session is free under this offer.  Or pick out one of the other sessions based on when your friends are going or one that works best with your family.
Here’s the camp schedule.

Step 4

Work though the logistics of getting up to camp.  Talk with your parents, or others at church. There is a shuttle service for all four youth sessions. It’s a great option and the cost is pretty reasonable.

Step 5

Register online.  You may want a little help from parents with the medical background entries.  At checkout, be sure and enter 1STTIMEFREE as a Discount Code.  This will adjust the fees and let the office know you’re coming. Once registered, download and print a copy of the Camp Rules, the packing list, and bus schedule, all PDFs right there on the registration page.

Step 6

Check the camp packing list and make time with your parents to do some shopping. They’ll be so glad you are getting this done waaay ahead of the night before you leave, cause that would be awkward.  Things like needing to replace an old swimsuit, picking up fishing tackle, or a can of bug spray will set you up well for the next step – almost there!

Step 7

Label your stuff and pack it up. Double check the packing list and mark it off as you assemble your gear. Set aside a bit of money for the trip up, canteen, crafts, and maybe some camp merch as these are add-on, optional costs. That little bit of initiative will also impress your folks.

That’s it, you’re ready!
