My favorite memory of Bible camp? cabin time at camp. My counselors in the past had a big spiritual impact on me, so I’m looking forward to hopefully making the same impact on campers this summer

I’m currently majoring in marketing at Harding University

I wanted to be a counselor because I have been going to FPYC my whole life, and I have loved it every year, so I want to help give kids the same experience I’ve had.

My favorite book is “Redeeming Love”

My perfect dinner is ground pork with cabbage or poppyseed chicken with rice, and then ice cream on top of a brownie for dessert

One of my most cherished moments is when me and the people at my church washed each other’s feet bringing us closer together 

I chose to counsel this summer as a lot of people were encouraging me to do so, and I feel like God was pushing me that way so I am putting all my trust in Him!

​I’ve been going to FPYC all my life, since I was only a few months old and this should be my 15th year I believe. I missed a few years as a kid and that thing called COVID.

One thing on my bucket list is to go sky diving one day 

My favorite activity at camp is definitely volleyball, with rest period being a close second!

I’m currently attending Howard College doing general studies with a focus in business, technology, and leadership.

My camp experiences growing up and going to FPYC have always been really positive for me, and one big role in that are the counselors. I wanted to counsel because I wanted to be that guy who gets to help shape and form other campers’ experiences making sure they have as great of a time as I did.

Favorite FPYC activity? I really like doing cookouts, they never go smoothly and it’s perfect for memories. 

Higher Ed? I’ll be attending Oklahoma Christian for Mechanical Engineering 

​Why counsel? I love this camp so much, and after a week of counseling last year filling in for a big session, I knew that I wanted to do it for the whole summer. And maybe a few summers- we will see!

Bucket list? To get top 8 in a major magic the gathering tournament

Favorite camp activity? getting to know people and playing all the games with them

Studies? I graduated from Minnesota State College this year for band instrument repair

​Why counsel? I just love camp. This summer is the last real opportunity in my life to be able to with the carrier field I am going into.
